We're all Kira trapped in a room with a Dukat that won't shut the fuck up.

Living in Portland. Out of work actor, working part-time retail, slinging old video games for scratch. Give us the Star Trek future we all deserve.
Love talking Trek, monster movies and action figures.
because it stole my father.
In some of the most important years of my life, he wasn't there. He had to commute 4 hours. That is no fault of his own. That is the fault of a system that provides peanuts for its people.
Capitalism gives no fucks about your time.
So, why should I give any fuck about it?
Someone peppered the bathroom at work with "Jesus Saves" stickers. I'm glad I didn't clip my nails.
Come, children. Come join me by the roaring warehouse fire.
Are DOTs individuals? Are they tied in with a ship's systems and are unable to be disconnected? Can a DOT be an officer?
I had my Super Mario Bros. Movie ('93) "Plumber Alert" t-shirt on at the coffee shop. Barista behind the counter commented on it:
"Just saw it. Better than the new one."
Kids are all right.
I find it incredibly frustrating that we're getting phenomenal pictures of the cosmos, a reminder of how fragile our little blue ball is in a sea of infinite darkness, and on said little blue ball, have the biggest baby man ever created, throwing a never ending fit.
Why don't you do -blank-?
Because I'm broke, SO many things I could do if I could just have a little more in the black.
My parents keep pulling this shit on me.
Them: "You should get your car serviced!"
Me: "ok" *rubs fingers*
I really like the new Starfox designs.
It's too bad they couldn't design a new game for them.
Our basement couch is collapsing like the house in Poltergeist.
Please be good, Street Fighter.
You look like the first video game movie to finally GET it.
Me, watching Atemis II launch: THAT'S how it's done, bitch.
We just got here. We just started.
I'll just play Star Trek Adventures until I'm a skeleton, I guess.
Chuck Norris sucked so much, he died.
Did I do it right?
Star Fox got the "but what if Unreal engine" treatment and I'm so disappointed.
Hell, it's not so much the graphical overhaul. (Ok that's part of it.) It's the fact that, once again, we're getting ANOTHER Starfox 64. Not a sequel. Not a side game. Straight up, ANOTHER Starfox 64 remake.
How do you have a space shooter and you can't, I dunno, come up with other stuff? I just...
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!
Trailer: A damaged Arwing tears high across Corneria's blue sky. It bellows out fire and dark smoke.
Fox wrestles with the failing controls.
Falco: There's nothing more you can do with that heap, Fox! Bail out!
Fox slams the eject button on the Arwing's glitching console. The frayed, broken wings eject off the cockpit, revealing a small set of guiding fins. The remaining armor plating snaps against the cockpit. The transformed Arwing resembles an escape pod. It picks up speed and hurtles through the clouds.
Cut to: third person view. the player guides the pod to the quickly advancing planet surface
Slippy: Projecting crash location...
Fox: Crash?
Peppy: You're getting chased by the enemy, Fox. Outmaneuver 'em!
The pod picks up speed, does barrel rolls, avoids enemy fire, deploys countermeasures, chaff, etc.
SLAM!
The pod crashes on the outskirts of a futuristic city, under attack by a massive enemy fleet.
Slippy: Touchdown!
Fox: Ug. 'Touch'. Right, Slippy.
Fox kicks the cracked pod door open, hops out, pulls out blaster.
Rob 65 crackles into the communication: Coordinates locked to Fox McCloud --- Landmaster Mark II drop in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...
BOOSH! Titanfall-like mech version of the Landmaster drops (it can turn humanoid and also turn into a tank)

The game is a sort of sequel to Starfox 64 with the mechanics of Starfox 2.
No Lylat System. Just one planet - Corneria. (Don't worry. There will be plenty of space battles.)
The villain? Well, who's a great rival in the universe who hasn't been THE big bad?
"Can't let you do that Star Fox."
I dunno. Seems pretty no brainer. Star Wolf finds Andross's leftover robot fleet and does an all out ASSAULT (wink) on Corneria. Star Fox gets its butt handed to it minute one and has to reclaim the planet.
Open-world, Mercenaries style game play with classic Starfox on rails shooting and "all range mode", depending what vehicle you hop into. The game map is always changing (always "real time") with every move you make, just like in Starfox 2. Reclaim cities and territories. Unlock new pilots, fighters, tech, upgrades.
Reclaim the planet. Defeat Star Wolf.
Something different, yet familiar.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die had the punch, energy and vibe that I WISHED Wright's The Running Man remake had.
Being a Dasher is one thing *takes a huge breath of air* but Dashing for scalpers? Wow. I did not think I'd be doing that.
Me, on my way to Best Buy: "Huh. It's kind of odd that I have three separate orders and each one is for a Switch 2."
"Huh. A lot of dashers are here for Switch 2s, as well."
"Huh. This business park I'm dropping this Switch, looks super busy. Whoa. There are a line of other delivery drivers. They all have Best Buy bags too... ummm... wait. All three orders are for here?!?"
I walk into the tiny office of the giant business/warehouse.
I immediately get sick to my stomach.
Piles. PILES. All the piles of Pokemon cards. People (scummy scalpers) kept bringing in stacks of boxed cards they could barely see over. Rows of sealed boxes, filling every inch of three fold out tables.
I glance in the back. Even more.
A dozen Samsung TVs are being pulled in by hand trucks.
To the left, a grid of Switch 2s (probably over 50) sitting in Best Buy bags just like mine.
I can't help myself.
As I'm waiting in line, I say, with too much volume, "So... any KIDS playing with these?"
I've received stink eye before but these folks, holy shit, I swear I had a stank before I left.
The Best Buy was on the way back home and I just had to tell the very nice customer service guy what just went down. Yeah. He wasn't happy.
Don't be a scummy fuck scalper. You don't have a business. You have a dream crushing store.
How I feel contributing to scalpers via Doordash
Huh. I get why people do security jobs because the person at the store I work for, does fuck all.
Oh, I get scolded for talking Trek online but they get to refresh their Truth Social?
With all the BS going on right now, I am so glad we're going to the moon.
