A recompilation of Kirby's Dream Land came out and I decided to take a look at it. I never had the chance to play it back in the day so I started to play it casually and... suddenly the credits roll. It was fun, short but fun. Didn't realize Kirby couldn't use enemy powers in the first game.

If you close your eyes and listen hard enough, you can already hear creative directors across the globe in the middle of typing out "It'll be like GTA6, but _____________ AND we'll do it in 12 months, no crunch."

There must be a lot more activity happening on Fedi right now as I was wondering why it looks like my instance was stuck 2 days in the past. I was still seeing new posts but everything was from 2 days ago. Turns out that there was over a half a million jobs sitting in my sidekiq queue. Bumped up the number of workers from the default to 30 and we're back to real-time after a day or so.
Bad: Being woken up by dogs at 5:30am.
Good: Up in time to be able to watch the F1 sprint race that started at 6am.
Currently being chased around various Overwatch custom games by a woman who reallllllllly loves my voice and keeps screeching "DROP THE DISCORD DADDY" repeatedly. I am so sorry to all my Mercy parkour girlies whose ears are getting suddenly obliterated each time she finds me.
Muting her is fine for me but isn't going to help the people in the parkour customs when they hear her for the first time.
