mastodon 4.7.3I ran MAGFest for a decade. Now I live in a van down by the river, write chiptunes, and run an electronic entertainment museum.
I enjoy things that provide a sensory experience. I game, I attempt to participate in the demoscene and am hacking together a synthesizer (see header pic) and music software from scratch.
I subsist on pizza, instant noodles, occasionally delicious proteins. Tryin' to switch to plants. Expect posts with retro technology, strange beverages, and ponderances.

Headed to #VCFEast for #retrocomputing hijinks this weekend. Ask me for a @bloopmuseum@oldbytes.space flyer and dump your old junk that goes bleep bloop on me to take back to the #Museum!
It is now #BandcampFriday. Alas, that probably means nothing, and I have nothing to show for this day except that I remembered to post on-time about it.

I don't think any AAA battery can actually be a "SUPER ALKALINE AGGRESSOR", sorry to say.
Shoutouts for another #BandcampFriday!
Support your favorite musician on bandcamp!

Maybe someone resourceful can find me a weight limit on Lexan or other polycarbonate when used as shelving? My brain is exhausted. I don't want to read "300 times stronger than glass", I want to know how many pounds of $THING I can put on a 4 foot span or whatever.
Well, I think *that* didn't work...
HFA Songfile just sent me an email as if I'm a noob who they are trying to convince to use their service. READ THE ROOM HFA - How do you think you got my email address? It's because I've given you THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN LICENSING

Enterprise rent-a-truck, winner of most annoying hold recording (and you're stuck on hold for like 30 minutes), cancelled a boxtruck on me today. Thank you to the person at the Penske for a calming, soothing demeanor and voice. All clear for another 4 days of grueling physical labor loading a truck.
Sharing from the butterfly place- get a great game on super sale - I did this whole OST!

@stylus@social.afront.org yeah, I found the acrylite calculator, but I want something like that for lexan/pc/etc. I guess it looks like if I just went with 12 inch width of a shelf, I can literally type something like "12 inch supported side, 48 inch unsupported side, 50 pounds" and then the thickness is....... ??? maybe that's millimeters and I shoot for the indicator to go to the green zone? it's a little unclear for someone who doesn't normally work in this industry :blobsweats:

Even AP knows the importance of a nice hot shower - but are they going as far as @revisionparty@icosahedron.website to take one?

@Amimoregore@mas.to well, on the upshot there's no way a several-hundred pound arcade machine is gonna blow away
