@dazo@infosec.exchange @jwildeboer@social.wildeboer.net indeed, it seems the most important thing here was to show that some change is possible after all.. now, hopefully, in the next elections there are already a bit more nuanced distribution of parties as this election was simply to prevent Hungary from going into one party system.

@parismarx@mastodon.online to me, this is not a trivial trouble to choose. Losing out on AI race, and I mean it also mostly on European terms with companies under EU democratic decision making, most likely means EU becoming relatively poor compared to AI winners. This in turn will mean the further rise of populism, no matter if it was from the right or left and that could be even worse for the sustainability than the gas plants running for 10 years.

@jjanhone Niijoo, olen nytkin virallisesti täällä saksassa konsulttifirman palveluksessa "tuntilaskutuksella" mutta sopparissa on vaan sovittu että olen täysipäiväinen toistaiseksi.. ystävän konsulttitalo joka vaan lähettää palkkalaskelmat suomen työnantajalle maksettavaksi. Tämäkin täysin käytännön ratkaisu kun suomesta saksaan palkanmaksu oli tilitoimistolle liian työlästä alkaa setvimään..

@lobbyctrl_tech Even if she did work on Meta as a lobbyist, that is in the past. Is there any evidence that this would clearly affect her work now that she has left this position? Does she owe significant amount of shares on Meta or is she somehow influenced by this past job specifically? I would consider it a bad practice to cancel future job opportunities based on this kind of past positions unless there is evidence that it is clearly harmful for the new task.

Bicycle roads certainly reduce the efficiency, but I do not have intuition about how much.. and the result would naturally be very different in Amsterdam or Leppävirta.. if somebody knows about this kind of research, I am all ears!
