Replying to

@protonprivacy@mastodon.social Please don't go down that route. The only thing which is "inevitable" is the Proton team once again focusing on building something new which nobody actually wants. Proton should focus on doing what they do best - email. I know someone who has used ProtonMail longer than I have, with a premium subscription, and *still* hasn't ever used the other Proton services. Adding LLMs into it is going to hurt more than it will help.

@soop@wetdry.world I sent a password reset request for my wdw but it didn't work. There's a decent chance I'll migrate there long-term, but for now mstdn.social is a pretty good choice.

@soop@wetdry.world > wetdry.world

decent chance I end up there tbh. I already have an account, I just don't use it.

> fuzzies.wtf

I don't think it would be a great fit for me, but I haven't heard really anything bad about it

> tech.lgbt

@soop@wetdry.world > Opus is unmatched for interactive speech and music transmission over the Internet, but is also intended for storage and streaming applications.

I stand corrected.

I've never seen it used in the wild for music though, only VoIP things.

@mcc@mastodon.social or, even better, you could have it break the page in ways that just seem like bugs in the browser engine and/or ui code now I really want to try this...
