@MissConstrue Calling them "buzzard" is a USian colloquialism. So you're correct, it's a vulture (although maybe not a turkey vulture, that's just the article that happened to have the linguistic note). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkey_vulture

Hej vad det regnar 🌧️ 😄

@mothninja@beige.party A+ alt text, thank you ⭐ 💚

@moonhouse@social.tchncs.de @elilla@transmom.love Yes, this. Creating useful subtitles/CC is an actual skill! You can't just barf out every utterance made and think you have provided accessibility.

@Christo_459@mastodon.me.uk I would not recommend trusting automated AI translation to manage communication around severe allergies.

@Mabande If you don't want it I'll take it! 😁 There are always things to store or move or ... *Serious offer.

@andijah Story of my (online) life. Once I have written it down, it's mostly out of my system and I'd rather move on.

@macberg Exakt.

@jna@mastodonapp.uk "My blood revolutionary" is my reading. @Natasha_Jay@tech.lgbt

@tk@bbs.kawa-kun.com They want to eliminate everything they cannot own & control. Musk et al. made some noise about Wiki before/around the US election and now it's intensifying. Any outlet that does not comply with the oligarchy's version of reality is under threat. 🤷 (If you're asking about the "historical detail", OP is referring to the Spanish labour strike, not the tech oligarchs' ambitions.)

@torsten@fosstodon.org Behind every sign is a story … 🤭

@silhelm My plan was to switch from my thick winter duvet to the thinner one on the equinox (I wake up too warm), but it's still a little chilly when I go to bed. Plus, this way I can open the window for the cats in the morning and still stay in bed all warm and cozy, like I'm a convalescent in a sanatorium in the Swiss mountains or something. So, the winter duvet stays for now. >.>

@silhelm New pen day imminent! :kirby_happy:

@silhelm :blobaww: Lyllo

@mwichary@mastodon.online You can edit your post and add it to the picture. 🙂

@yayaver@mastodon.social #Alt4You #AltText A white mug with a dark red rim being held up against a balcony railing. The mug has a simple line drawing print of a bell curve diagram on it. At the top of the curve it says "Don't be mean". Towards the far right end, around the 90th percentile, there's a vertical mark and the text "Be significant".
