Biked 74km across the Netherlands to visit my friends in Leiden. Captured several windmills along the way.
My friends think I'm crazy because I just use a manual only city bike, not electric and not a racing bike.

just addressing the example py code and not the article or idea of python being bad for this, there is a nicer way now with Pathlib

With the #FOSS4G NL dates and location announced, and my desire for a bike and camping summer vacation, perhaps I will fiets4G to Groningen. Capture photos for #panoramax NL along the way?
Is there a Dutch word for looking out the window of the train at the Sunset, wanting to be out there biking across the polders, but you're inside the train debugging Kubernetes?

Aside from WAN show, the april fools and gamer plane have been the only videos I've watched recently. I probably won't watch more of the plane, the fire engine hasnt been interesting.

@hareldan @nickrsan I was at a remote sensing event with a representative from GEE a couple months ago, they quoted GEE adds about a petabyte of new data every month.
Also, from talking to other conference goers I got the feeling that nobody trusts GEE to stick around, which prompts the question as to why researchers are using the tool if they can't count on the service to stick around, or what happens when GEE changes something on the backend and reproduction would yield different results.

Am I wrong to think that a 20% reduced surface temperature would mean if the road was the air temperature right now 32C, it would go down to -29C.

The list() is not needed, but since .rglob is a generator I generally use list so I can re-use the file list multiple times without re-calling.

I found the source image for this on Getty but the metadata just says a metro. Is this even a Dutch station?
I also noticed in the first few images for the chapter markers theres no trains visible and thought "oh the plan is no trains, great report." But then again I guess they can't just plaster NS trains everywhere.
