@kaia@pleroma.soykaf.com@kumicota@akkoma.kumicota.moe i have used one by a friend with usb-c and an battery. works well. the idea is the heat neutralizes the poison, reducing numbness (itchiness) and swelling. still a small open wound though. but those usually close in a day or 2

google.com (google has an incredible good uptime and is rarely hacked. i hate them as a company but compared to other big tech companies they get their shit togehter)
@meeper@netzsphaere.xyz@kaia@pleroma.soykaf.com btw it is still supisciously cheap. like i bought new thinkpads for a company ~2018.
2000€ for a t480 if i remember right. with inflation and ram crisis and all i would have expected a new (real) thinkpad bein 2.5k€
(and thats why u dont buy new laptops btw, )
sometimes i wish to learn what craftsman learn. like electricians for example. i am do have a degree in electrical engineering and CS.
but i still dont feel comfy with tinkering 230v. (never got shocked though)
@lain@lain.com@sofia@chaos.social in general i also assume the product is worse. but thanks to flexispot i atleast know i can buy a height-adjustable desk frame and put my own wooden top onto it. i wont buy a flexispot bc i assume they are overpriced influencer bullshit^^
@lain@lain.com deswegen sag ich immer "liberal (neue Rezeptur)"
aber ja mag es auch nicht wenn man zu breite Feindbilder aufbaut. Neoliberal hat kaum noch eine Bedeutung in Zeiten von Merz
@sofia@chaos.social@lain@lain.com i hate ads, but i think without ads a monopoly might be harder to break. like it is good if someone has a new better product and people need to learn about it somehow. but in general i think ads make sad and are a waste of attention and time.
