The drumstick alliums have survived the heat and thunderstorms and are looking good. They are at least 3 feet tall.

Morning! Sat out having a coffee ☕️ in the morning sun. The plants and grass seem to have enjoyed the rain we had last week. The potato vine on the trellis must have grown a foot and is now over the top of the fence 👍The forecast is for more heat next week though 😬

Good to see hostas starting to do their thing. This one was propagated from one in the front garden last year. At the time chopping a plant with a spade felt too violent, but Monty said be brave. It worked

Put a new plant in this morning to cover a bare bit of wall eventually. A ceanothus. It’s a lemon and lime variety so the leaves are funky variegated.
