@lefteristrip23 @Gargron plus, you know, the whole "there's a Canadian astronaut aboard" aspect, too…

@overcastfm@mastodon.social I’m listening to this week’s ATP in Overcast and want to get the Phonograph episode. I went to the show notes and tapped the overcast link. That opened the episode page on overcast.fm in a WebView. Tapping the “Open” button in the banner at the top closes the webview, briefly flashes a panel of something, and then reopens the webview.
Tapping the Listen in the App button just punts me to the App Store page for Overcast.
Not great!

@overcastfm@mastodon.social transcripts seem to be struggling with the thick British accents in the BBC 13 Minutes podcast https://overcast.fm/+AARkppU67p8

@rmondello@hachyderm.io This reminded me to actually file a couple of Feedbacks about some papercuts in Passwords (and/or Safari AutoFill) (1/2)
FB18803849: Passwords/Safari auto-fill: add option to not auto-submit TOTP codes. TL;DR: Safari automatically hits "submit" when filling a 2FA code, meaning that if I want to click the "remember me" checkbox that is common on these forms, I have to remember to do it first.

FB18803991 Allow Passwords to record more input fields: some websites require more than a username or password, such as my health insurance (requires username, group plan number, and password). Some 3rd-party password managers allow adding additional fields, usually named for the HTML input name, and will fill them. With Apple Passwords, I have to put it in the notes field, and look it up and paste whenever I log in.
Thanks, and I hope you're having a fantastic summer!

@lexfri @caseyliss @marcoarment I use a shortcut bound to the action button on the Ultra that shows me a menu of my most often used workout types. Works great. If I have to use the normal workout selector…

I’m slightly disappointed that the census is online and I can’t use my official Census Day pencil to fill out the questionnaire.

@timbray@cosocial.ca as someone with an aging parent who uses Android, and is having cognitive issues, I'm perfectly fine with this one-time speed bump.

@rmondello@hachyderm.io I really enjoyed this talk! I work in IAM at a university and I would love to start introducing passkeys, but something I'm struggling with is that we have far more diverse use cases than a more vertically-integrated organization. Passkeys would work for our web-based SSO, which admittedly is the majority use case for us, but we also have places where a password is still needed (VPN, managed desktops, SSH, RDP, etc). Any advice for navigating that kind of environment?

@cek@techhub.social the gate kinda indicates it’s not a public road? It’s part of our watershed, public isn’t allowed there.
