@nocontexttrek There's a Supply Side and a Demand Side...

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social Alice: "I got a smart fridge." Bob: "Oh? Where is it?" Alice: "Out hiking in the woods."

@sundogplanets Baby goats! Also, a nice view of the Coathanger on the far right of the first aurora pic.

@svat@mathstodon.xyz I always get slightly confused because the edition I grew up with is called The (Incomplete) Book of Failures, which I guess was the North American title. I hadn't really made the connection between Stephen Pile and Douglas Adams, but it makes perfect sense. I first read about The Man from Porlock in the Book of Failures, so I knew exactly what Adams was talking about when it came up in Dirk Gently.

@bunnyhero@mstdn.ca As if the Path weren't confusing enough.

Gonna be #Monsterdon ing tonight.

The end! Beautifully shot, well paced, actually fun to watch even without running commentary. I do like this film. I have to admit, though, I've always preferred The Haunting (1963). Based on the same novel, but creepier. And more sapphic vibes. (W says they're in the original book, too.) No Vinny, though. It was one of the only horror films I could stand to watch as a chicken kid. #Monsterdon

@mcc@mastodon.social Oh for fuck's sake. I probably went right by that on Monday.
