What if the Acorn Archimedes had its own Star Fox? Wing Star is a 90s 3D demo that pushed the system in impressive ways, blending ideas from Star Fox and Afterburner.

The Amstrad CPC6128 edition of New York Warriors was released with both disk sides containing the first side, losing a whole side of levels! Lost for 36 years, author Fred Williams has kindly allowed Games That Weren't to release the lost full version:

It is thanks to Kevin Edwards that the game was preserved, after Fred sent his 3" disks to Kevin.
A Zelda-style game on the Commodore 64 that looks closer to the SNES than the NES. Mythos was an incredible demo hiding inside a C64 release, showing just how far it could be pushed, before being quietly abandoned.

An alpha of the cancelled FMV racer: MegaRace (Amiga CD32) has been found and added to Games That Weren't, thanks to Dave Arcadian. However, we've not been able to yet get it running just yet - maybe someone can? More details + download:

Bounty Hunter (Amstrad CPC) is a new prototype release at Games That Weren't and quite advanced stage multi-screen platform action. There are possible links to Raffaele Cecco too - so was this one of his, or perhaps a game that inspired Exolon?

A mysterious, unfinished project with strong Tir Na Nog vibes. Only early code and visuals survive, but enough to hint at something special. Today its been preserved by Games That Weren't:
Burnt Out Cop - a cancelled action game inspired by Die Hard and Hard Boiled.
A fast-paced, slightly bonkers arcade title that got lost in IP limbo (PS2/Xbox).

Fairy Tale - a dark, twisted reimagining of classic stories like Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast and Pinocchio. Pitched in 2007 by Stormfront Studios for PS3 and Xbox 360, this hack and slash concept blended Devil May Cry style action with American McGee's Alice, but never made it further:

Although released on the C64, Atomic Robo-Kid's ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC conversions were sadly never to be. There's a playable ZX demo to check out, but nothing as of yet of the CPC edition. Can either be recovered?
