It's fixed in macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta 3 🙌 There is hope!
I disabled UIDesignRequiresCompatibility thanks to the fixes in macOS 26.4 🥳

@Cykelero Yes, absolutely! It would enough for me to be able to focus the toolbar, navigate to the next button via Tab and the press Space.
I've checked a couple of apps, and they all behave the same way, i.e., no way for me to navigate to a preference pane via keyboard.

No surprise, but I can’t install macOS 26.4 beta 3 either.
Honest question: how does everyone use the new betas and check for changes on feedback you filed? Do I need a second Mac for that now, yes, now of all times … no, yes?

Does anyone know how to navigate between preference panes of apps on macOS using the keyboard?
I tried to highlight the toolbar buttons and moving the focus works, but selecting the focused pane by, e.g., pressing Space only gives the error sound.
Seems like an obvious thing to do...
Can anyone share a way to install macOS 26.4 beta 2 in a VM?
I’m getting a "Device Support Update required" message in VirtualBuddy, and a similar message in UTM.

@mstarke It's one of the first settings I'm enabling on a fresh macOS, unfortunately it doesn't affect the issue I've mentioned above.
