@chad@mstdn.ca me turning to the guy who’s been waiting with me in the emergency room after six hours:
“Boy, was that a well-lubricated garage door, or what?”
@GrimmReality@beige.party they really are all cartoonishly evil-looking and it’s deeply disturbing that ~30% of the electorate seems to be into that shit.
Ah yes, of course I want Cruella DeVille, Zorg, and The Penguin to rule me, that just seems natural.
@puzzled@coales.co@Daveography@yeg.bike what we really need are some very brave cyclists willing to claim the lane with shirts that read “Danielle put me in your car lane”.
But I don’t blame anybody for not wanting to be a human sacrifice.
@georgetakei@universeodon.com people who think she changed her tune because Russia and Iran are allies don’t quite get it.
She changed her tune because she realized Russia is going to lose. Power is all fascists care about. They don’t want to back a loser, and this one finally clued in to what many of us realized after the first week: Ukraine is stronger than Russia.
How fascists could keep picking losers when winning is the only thing they actually care about is an exercise for the reader.
@Amy@iosdev.space fit people often struggle to comprehend just how *unfit* a person can get, especially when everything about car and office culture is designed to avoid exertion.
@brad262run@mastodon.online just one of the many ways the auto industry is trying to kill me.
I don’t care if Chinese brands wipe the western auto companies off the earth.
@sundogplanets@mastodon.social nah, this guy hasn’t figured it out.
If he did, he’d start by informing us how *conventional physicists don’t want you to know this simple truth* 😱
@carnage4life@mas.to you’d have to be dense to see $10 million tanks get wrecked by $500 drones and think $100,000 humanoid bots are the answer.
They might be very effective at subjugating civilians though, who knows?
@Daveography@yeg.bike@CTVNews@flipboard.com they would simply be counted as respondents. You saw them twist the forever Canadian petitioners into “people who want a referendum.”
Ignore reality and declare victory anyway is the modern conservative’s solution to any challenge.
@asymco@mastodon.social Nintendo’s doing pretty good.
But of course, they’re trying to compete on unique values rather than simply selling a subsidized gaming PC.
