The EV roadie is going well. Got a cheeky trickle charge at the campground, then into town for lunch and topped off the electron tank in Woolworths car park for free.
Apart from a quick 120kw stop at a chargenet on the way up, all this power has been free of charge. Well not free of charge (that would be useless) but free of charge, of course.

Just saw a lady doing a tarot card reading (on her own) on a deserted beach. There was a pentagram and all sorts of stuff.
She did the reading, then just... walked straight out into the sea.
She came back again, I checked 😅
I had an extremely vivid dream during which I said "Arigato gozaimasu" (thank you in Japanese) to a woman, and she turned out to be Korean. I was mortified, and then realised that I didn't even know how to say sorry in Korean.
I think the safest thing would be for me to learn all languages and be sure about someone's first language before venturing into it. Either that, or never leave the house.
You know that stuff you get in the dentists, to swill with, and they say "don't swallow any" and you say "mmmf ggnnkkff" and what you meant was "of course not, this stuff is gross"
Anyway this holiday tipple.

Finished my (week) long trip quite fittingly, by going to see The Odyssey.
It's very... American. I struggled to get past Odysseus and the Queen of Ithica sounding like a regular couple on US TV. Still a spectacle and all that - the visuals were great and the soundscape very Nolanesque (ears are ringing, bit of a headache).
People say that it's a long movie - if anything I think it went too light with the passage of time. It's good, but I'd say only watch it at the movies, not at home.

I finally kicked Adobe Creative Cloud out of my life, and yikes that shit clings on like an ex-lover who refuses to accept reality.
First they tried to give me a million discounts, then they threated several hundred dollars of "exit fee", and when they relented and cancelled my account without a fee, the software refused to uninstall.
"Creative Cloud Uninstaller is unable to continue. Please stay, I'll change, I promise, I really will, you won't regr..."
We got there though fam, I'm free. 🙌

Monday Morning Essjax will be so pleased with me if I push through and get this work done today, but current Friday Afternoon Essjax says no. It's a pickle.
Today marks three weeks since I ordered my new home server from Amazon US. The order was accepted immediately, but it still hasn't shipped. The support chat always says it's currently closed, the call back feature only offers to call US numbers, and an international support line randomly disconnects after a few minutes on hold. I even emailed them a week ago, and no reply. I don't even know if it's ever coming.
It's tedious.

I was walking in my neighbourhood, things were normal. A crisp autumn day, low sun, birds twittering. A rubbish truck came along behind me. I didn't know I was dreaming, all was normal.
The truck came alongside, and I see it has a picture of British comedian Joe Wilkinson on the side.
It says "Joe Wilkinson's Trash Service" and I remember, in the dream, seeing him on TV explaining that 'Trash Service' sounds classier than 'Waste Removal', because, well, duh, of course it does.

It's was a couple of seconds of light, unspecified jiggling, followed by 3-4 thrusts - kind of like an amorous ghost was humping on the bed. It was all over pretty quickly.

I'm not saying ban the movies, but you wouldn't have (as a completely different example) a full-on porn billboard in general public places. Surely gun violence is magnitudes worse than folk bumping flesh for pleasure.
