These funds have existed for 30 years by growing cloud services. But now it's just the inert bottom of the ocean where there is no more whale carcass left. So they try to keep the lights on by absorbing whole large infrastructure sectors. It's not that they have anything useful to offer space. It's that space has government money that is useful to them.

We used to be OK with push-notifications and push-updates when they delivered new functionalities and security fixes. But now that a large number of software updates serve to remote-disable things that used to work and spam notifications nag you to re-enable tracking or subscribe to a premium account, we should seriously consider opposing this handing out the keys to our installed software to corpos.

@fanta Un cable usb 5v 2A es un cargador de potencia, posiblemente un ssd interno gaste incluso varios órdenes de magnitud menos potencia. Por otro lado, tengo emails de la administración con adjuntos de 130MB. Pero en general como primera aproximación diría que la hipótesis de que el almacenamiento electrónico contamina mucho menos es probablemente correcta.

El dev se libra de los conflictos porque ejecuta su aplicación en su versión de la librería special snowflake "pues en local en mi ordenador funcionaba" y el usuario se come el marrón de tener 4 copias de libgtk-icons casi idénticas instaladas en paralelo en la misma máquina. Vamos, la misma mierda que Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2009/2013/2027

Unified Attestation é a alternativa de e/OS á iniciativa de google para prohibir instalar aplicacions desde ficheiros .apk sin pagar unha licencia de dev de Google que che firma o software. A resposta de Graphene é que deberiamos poder instalar calquera software sen asinar, non facer un European Alternative Torment Nexus.

Si realizas un movimiento Gaussiano en 2D (que es la distribución de máxima entropía es decir "la más aleatoria posible") la distancia recorrida es exponencial. Si el retardo de llegada al destino al recorrer un camino sigue una distribución exponencial, el número de llegadas en una ventana de tiempo es Poisson. El modelo de poisson literalmente dice "si los enfermos fueran partículas que se mueven aleatoriamente y se contagian al tocarse..."
