Fresh, bright and fruity on the nose with hints of cedar wood and vanilla. Wooft! What a wonderful mouthful: initially red fruit, especially strawberries and black cherries. Buttery, floral, and peppery, with a long, warm, spicy, oaky finish. 🥰

For the opening #sixnations game. An old school sipper tonight: Wee Toon funk, engine oil and peat on the nose with citrus breaking through. Bright and fruity with vanilla, chocolate and caramel.
Good odds for an Ireland win, but I think an easy one for Les Bleus.

The Scottish men destroyed the USA Team earlier, and two magnificent wins for the Scottish Women, gubbing the USA Team and then the Japanese Team, put both teams with a slim chance at medals.

Finished in 1st fill Oloroso firkin. Orange peel on the nose with subtle almond and slight smoke. Silky smooth mouthfeel, chocolate, and mint. More citrus on the tongue, which lingers into a spicy finish of nutmeg and cinnamon.

I love returning to a dram I haven't had in a while. I'd forgotten just how fruity and delicious this Deanston is. Vanilla, malty sweetness on the nose. Delicious waxy fruitiness on the tongue: peaches, pears, citrusy and finishes with a gentle tingly spice.
A terrible time for those who hate sport, with the Six Nations and the Olympics in full swing. Watching the "Women's Big Air" at the moment, and commentators seem to be talking a different language - I have no idea what they are talking about, but I love their enthusiasm.
Apparently, there's some sporting event in California later, featuring a cast of thousands wearing body armour and motorcycle helmets. But I'm about to watch proper football in a moment, the Scottish Cup, Stenhousemuir and Falkirk

Vanilla and hints of marzipan and orange, some green apple developing. Quite hot, a bit of water quells that. Spicy clove, liquorice and orange marmalade. Nice waxy mouthfeel and a lingering spiciness.
Another great weekend to look forward to, but not for those who hate sports 😃

I always like a wee bit of water with this one. Buttery almonds wth vanilla and dark fruit, plums and raisins. Familiar waxiness, green apples, citrus and sweet toffee. Dark chocolate and a little spice to finish. No sherry bomb, but the PX is most definitely there 😃

She was scheduled to stop at Portree, where the children from the local primary school were hoping for a sail. A boy in one class had raised the money to pay for all of them.
It never tied up - a rather lame excuse about "adverse weather" was given. Locals said the weather was fine. Disappointing for the kids, but the local cake shop came to the rescue.
Just as against Scotland, that final try and score flatter England somewhat.

Lots of huff and puff from Scotland with little to show for it. Italy, despite not having as much possession or territory, has been the team deserving the lead at half time with a couple of great tries.
Need to buck your ideas up, Scotland, if you want to win this, because at the moment it's looking like a great and deserved win for Italy.

It's just pathetic. There again, unionists have nothing else to offer Scotland other than doom and gloom. Such a woeful, negative campaign from the unionist parties.
