🌇 🦅 🙏 I'ma escape my shitty parents to somewhere in-or-around Chicago in October. I'm a zoomer "artist", currently-closeted trans woman, who's only firm resume credential for getting hired is working at a retirement place cafe for roughly 1.75 years. I'm doing a lot for the first time to make this happen. Abstract online research about a place I've never physically been's starting to give me psychosis. I'm making this public for the first time cuz I'd like to know as many people and resources and esoteric whatnot as I can. What's the best possible way to be a poor stupid queer with moonshot ambition in Chicago

Was thinking of the Luigi Mangione and Tyler Robinson bullet messages and ended up in a rabbit hole researching the history of the practice. https://spokenpast.com/articles/greek-sling-bullets-messages-taunts/

I only got 25% of an idea what to do with the amount of abrupt physical artistic freedom I'm about to have. If there's something u think I might wear, or something u think I might have in my room, show it to me

In 1949, Claude Shannon was characterizing information loss, and needed a term for the degree to which information is scrambled. Visiting mathematical physicist John von Neumann, he received the following advice: "You should call it entropy... nobody knows what entropy really is, so in a debate you will always have the advantage."

I like how the emoji representation of crab bucket, 🦀🪣, defeats the turn of phrase by necessarily placing the crab outside the bucket.

When I was a kid I had a secondhand first-gen iPod touch and an abnormal obsession with the power of landmark and monument. Scrolling through my overgrown skeuomorphic Google Maps list of pinned points possesing psychosocial power, adding everything from the Eiffel Tower to some shit from the Galápagos. A trans childhood is Paris syndrome. If kids see ghosts, they sure as hell see ley lines.

In English Esperanza means hope. Im Spanish it means too many letters. It means sadness, it means waiting. It is like the number nine. A muddy color. Songs like sobbing.

Every time I explore all the old screenshots of YouTube comments sections I have lying in rot, those of random unreleased SALEM songs with barely any views will always feature prominently.

One day, a lifeboat found on the sea a flat and translucent seaweed with human veins, thus it was known the captain had died.
