Dammit. Now I've got Last Resort stuck in my head. Catchy rip off buggers!
Supposed to be going to bed but I'm really quite wound up from our EP listening party on Bandcamp earlier this evening. *Bzzzzz*

@timhopper so, a bug on their side? or something wrong with how you implemented? Weird. I'd be a bit more freaked out about if I were them!

@timhopper no probs. I did get a second 'spam' from then, but none since. Still feels weird that they'd do this. Might even be a GDPR breach? Dunno! :D

@timhopper FYI, your use of Replit means they are now emailing as if I'm interested in their services. That's not a great experience. :/

@virtuosew I think a lot of people think they are just crows that listen to Bauhaus. :D
Even then, a crow is also bigger than would happily fit under a cloak. Blackbird perhaps?
Replying to
@virtuosew I can't answer the question but the whole 'enormous bird' thing resonates! I first saw a Raven in the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland last year and I was stunned at how big it was. #bigbird

The energy stats app is easier to read! The black line which isn't on the key is the forecast by Solcast. I never quite hit the forecast presumably because I have a bit of chimney shade in the morning and I probably have the roof angle wrong!

instead, it just pops open a new window with "We regret to inform you that something odd happened." in it, and a http400 error.
The only way you can get this to work is to set your release to public. This then goes off an emails all your followers and puts it up for sale, removing the entire purpose of the listening party.

I think the correct way of doing this is to create the release, ensure you have a pre release track available, then release it as public and schedule the listening party.
People will then get immediately emailed about it and get to hear a track before you want them to, but not the others, but at least you can then schedule a party?
God knows :/ This doesn't really seem that hard!
@timhopper that's super cool. Little quality of life enhancement: once you answer a question, have the window scroll back up to the next photo. Right now I answer, then have to drag it back up to see if it's changed.
I still don't know if this battery will actually pay for itself over its lifetime, but it feels good to not be on grid (99% anyway...) when it's working and it was kinda not really the point.
TBH, the juries out on if the panels themselves will pay for themselves, but the recent reports of panels far outliving their expected lifespan gives me hope ;)
Oh! Bandcamp Friday! A good day to check out my band @iamimperfect@bandwagon.fm. You don't have to buy, just have a listen!
I'm off to Berlin soon for our first European gig! ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!
