@pixelfed Like other people my biggest complaints are:

• Reblogs not working;
• Comment threading not working correctly with too many replies (not sure after what level)
• Add to collection has stopped working months ago
• Adding hashtags after a post has been published doesn't work (it works in mastodon)

Less urgent:

• perhaps the geotagging could be improved?
• portfolio is a great feature, but you can only choose from your latest photos, not the entire collection.

I've been playing around with #pixelix for a day and it's a game changer compared to the official #pixelfed app.

The UI looks good, scrolling through posts is very smooth, comment trees actually make sense, collections appear on people's profiles, there's a handy button for reading the alt-text, you can install it from f-droid without adding external repositories.

@pixelfed@mastodon.social I know a new version is being developed at the moment. Just wanna point out that push notifications seem to have issues. I get a notification if someone on another platform leaves a comment, but for comments/replies on pixelfed I get nothing. I also wish reblogs/boosts will work in the new version. #pixelfed @dansup@mastodon.social

🥩 I spent a whole week in the cave near the radio tower in Mountain Town, just crafting stuff and eating moose meat.
