BTW - anarchism, outside of academia (as a proper scholar of anarchism noted and I read it) has "f*ck all" to do with how much one reads or who you read it from. At that, it also seems likely, that anarchism doesn't fit very well to describe the ANTIFA movement since its actions and philosophy often entails /coercion/. To be clear, anarchism, as a historical movement was /primarily/ OPPOSED to /coercion/ - no matter how noble the cause.

That may be true but to be fair FOSS wasn't intended to deter commercial /free/ software. 'Free as in Freedom* not "free beer"'. However, even if this motto is understood the culture of open source development is not nearly defensive as it could be. That this laxity effects morale and confuses ideological orientation toward something false or propagandist is a good point.
