Today's #stressbaking is a vegan blueberry cake for a luncheon I'm invited to. The theme is "GREEN" and I think I nailed it.

@scy@chaos.social Da ist Obst* drin, da ist Protein drin... da ist alles wichtige drin 🤷🏻♀️

Had another job interview this morning and it surely is getting ridiculous trying to get a new job. If I pass this first interview with HR, there's a technical interview with the team I'd be working with, followed by a logic questionnaire and a virtual assessment day before they even make a decision...
This all accumulates to well over six hours of time investment and I'm not sure the slim prospect of working there is truly worth jumping through all of these hoops tbh.
@APBBlue@thepit.social I'm still baffled how they can seriously think this is the golden way of hiring nowadays...

@calvin@fedi.sphericalcow.space yeah... I wasn't keen on sending an application before I read their notes about the hiring process but this sealed the deal of never wanting to work there.

@acid@weirder.earth thank you :) that was purely coincidentally. With food coloring you start with a teeny tiny bit of color gel and add more when you want a darker color. I knew beforehand that the theme decorations would be more pastel than saturated so I let the icing be this desaturated.

I honestly had to look up what this would mean because I'm so anti-AI in my social life. Then I stumbled upon a LinkedIn post explaining how you should behave when doing one of those interviews and it was horrifying to read...

Also mit Glycerin statt hochprozentigem Alkohol?

@inarticulatequilter@mastodon.art yeah that's really unfortunate for the rest of the team. It's not understandable how and why these companies do that...

@inarticulatequilter@mastodon.art oh no😭 I'm so sorry this happened but I'm sure you can manage it

@bomkatt@ohai.social It sounded like a normal assessment center that's very customized to their kind of work.

@ulktante@troet.cafe tbh, maybe maybe not... We'll see if I survived the first round because somehow I also get rejected when I seem to make everything right🤷🏻♀️
