@hanshuebner @plexus yes and no. It‘s a systemic problem that needs a fix on a regulatory scale. But enough single devs opting out can also make a difference. Furthermore, regulation is done by politics, which in the end is the sum of the votes and voices of the people.

@hanshuebner @plexus if you are against how big tech is pushing LLMs, but you can’t do any chages because you will lose your job and don’t have any alternative, you can keep using it at your job but e.g. pressure your elected officials to improve regulation of big tech with regard to LLMs.

We are probably the most privileged of the working class. So I would even argue it's our duty to do something with this privelege...

Der 23. Juli verzeichnete so viele Flüge wie noch nie. Frankreich und Spanien brennen, 300k Leute werden evakuiert. Gleichzeitig fliegen die oberen 10 % der Menschen mehrmals pro Jahr quer durch die Welt. Wie widerlich.

@andreas_tengicki@hessen.social @tazgetroete@mastodon.social Was halt in der Realität passiert, ist dass die Frau freiwillig verzichtet weil gemeinsam beschlossen wird, dass das besser ist für das gemeinsame Leben mit Kindern etc. Aber dann 10 Jahre später ändert sich die Situation und es gibt eine Scheidung. Dann ist die Frau trotzdem benachteiligt. Das ist das Problem mit finanziellen Anreizen die klassische Rollenbilder verstärken.

@andreas_tengicki@hessen.social @tazgetroete@mastodon.social Dann für dich nochmal extra: Das Ehengattensplitting setzt die Anreize so, dass (sehr oft) die Frau auf einen Job mit höherem Einkommen verzichtet, weil dann das Ehepaar in ein höhere Progeressionsklasse steigen würde und es sich dann netto nicht lohnt. Und weil eben Ehen scheitern und Frauen dann auf sich alleine gestellt sind, ist die direkte Folge davon eine signifkante Altersarmut bei Frauen.

"Sozialismus" war viel zu lange ein negativ-konnotierter Begriff. Oft gleichgesetzt mit zentraler Planwirtschaft. Das ist aber nicht, was demokratischer Sozialismus bedeutet. Ich bin stolz, demokratischer Sozialist zu sein und für Solidarität aller zu kämpfen.
