Papers used to have every page within one widget—gestures, keyboard navigation, rendering, etc.
Earlier this year, I made it one per page. And lbaudin advanced this by moving our form fields to those new per-page ones, with more to come.
That and a joint effort by @pabloyoyoista@social.treehouse.systems, lbaudin, and me to align keyboard navigation to the new widget tree allowed for @tyrylu@gts.trycht.cz's work on accessible text to take effect.
Thank You to everyone who helped with these first steps towards a more accessible Papers!

I do not miss the consistent content stream from platforms like TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram on Linux on Mobile.
But calling it a feature is dishonest. If the platform gains traction, ad riddled addictive time sinks will follow. You are protected mostly by coincidence.
We need protection. We need legislation.
If you run Usage on Mobian (incl. in their Phosh flavour), you might have already seen the network tab, but for those on postmarketOS:
With the power of vnstat, Usage will show your network traffic per interface—including most importantly, your mobile data connection. You just need vnstat.
It is rudimentary, and recently I've been more interested in making the rest of the app more sleek and performant. It might interest you nonetheless. (And I'm always open to discuss and review improvements.)
If a car approached you fast while crossing at traffic lights, would you (a) run or (b) complain it is green for you and not for the car?
And if you saw a stroller next to you, would you feel responsible to push it off the street?
Totally unrelated: In what world is it acceptable to discuss whether climate change is manmade? If it was not¹, push. the. fucking. stroller.
¹ It is.
I hate “/s” being used to denote irony. Struggling with grasping the intended subtext, you might look up the definition of sarcasm:
“Sarcasm is the caustic use of words, often in a humorous way, to mock someone or something.” (https://w.wiki/Gbhp) It is NOT simply to imply a different, often opposite, meaning—that would be irony. “[R]idicule is an important aspect of sarcasm, but not of verbal irony in general” (https://w.wiki/HjW4)
If not sarcastic, it could fail at being accessible.
