@ktdoggett@c.im As the former owner of a small business, therefore a capitalist, IMHO the capitalism generally practiced in NA is based on the rest of us being groomed to think that hoarding wealth is different from hoarding anything else. So we have multi-millionaire and billionaire hoarders running things. Think about it, anyone else who obsessively accumulates something regardless of the harms is labeled a hoarder with a mental illness. Why not wealth hoarders?

@gatesvp @GeofCox Yes, exactly this. We need similar language surrounding other taxpayer funded public goods, too. Like healthcare - in Canada it's not 'free' it's crowdsourced through taxation.

@gatesvp @GeofCox I used to use universal healthcare but it's not accurate, as you know. Now I usually say taxpayer funded even though it's clunky because I haven't heard or come up with anything more poetic.

@the_blackwell_ninja May I add that the stem to that rotten core is white supremesist patriarchy? It was the rich white men (and the rich white women enablers) who made the rules in the first place. It's not any better here in Canada, really.
