“It is why I care about plain text, low-friction builds, stable URLs, HTML-first publishing, search that does not depend on a cloud black box, and keeping complexity where complexity earns its keep.”
“I need a single canonical Eleventy build, two real hostnames, one xmit team, and a workflow boring enough that I will understand it six months from now.”

When I asked Claude Code for an expansive change to a naming convention for an app that we've built, I never expected this as its first response:
"Let me survey the actual blast radius before I describe the plan — counts matter here.”

Oh jeez, I’m about to embark on another redesign of my personal website. What sparked this was seeing a certain color and font of a site on my phone that just grabbed me. It was simple, but the image of it has stuck in my mind. This could take a while, but here we go.
@tylersticka@social.lol You've been showcased: https://11tybundle.dev/showcase/tylersticka-com/
It's only Feb 18 and I've already got 10 blog posts and 15 sites for the next issue of the 11ty Bundle. I'm thinking that this can't wait until March 11th. Stay tuned.
I've changed the way I deploy my Eleventy sites #11ty

These classic stickers are still available...for free. I have removed the "shop" from my site nav, but you can still get there via this post. I have about 40 of these left. They are destined to become classics. Get one while they last.
Issue 83 of the 11ty Bundle is out: Eleventy met-up, Brewventy starter, A chart plugin, Sveleven starter, 11tyCMS beta, Tricks of the trade, Eleventy survival, The Newsprint Theme, Bundle insights. #11ty @11ty@neighborhood.11ty.dev

Ok, I meant to say Issue 87, like it says in the real title.

@shivjm@mastodon.social Fixed the bad display of the French site. There was some double-encoding happening. Thanks again.

@chrisjrn@social.coop @robin@social.riley.pub and other #nbpy peeps. Do any of you recall the name of the guy with the red arrow pointing to him? We talked at NBPY and he was going to try to connect with me, but I haven’t heard from him and wanted to reach out. Long shot, I know. He said he worked at the Internet Archive on TV stuff and I think he lives in San Rafael. Long shot, but thanks!

@shivjm@mastodon.social Many thanks for the kind words. What’s amazing is that none of if feels that long ago and it was nice to dig into old things and bring them to the fore. It’s been quite a ride…and I’m not done yet ;-)

#11ty Compares quite favorably against Astro and React in this analysis:

@sebkln The path forward is not new, just funded and enhanced. Take a look at all the comments and questions and answers in the Kickstarter project. I'd also point you to my "editorial" in the latest issue of the 11tyy Bundle: https://11tybundle.dev/blog/11ty-bundle-85/
@beep Awesome piece! I’ll be adding it to the 11ty Bundle site. And thanks for the shout out, though you’ve got a slight mis-spelling of my last name.
If you're looking for an exceptionally capable remote developer, there's someone in the #11ty community that is among the more prolific helpers on the Discord Server (known as @Aankhen there) who is available. Here's a post he wrote about his skills and availability on his blog. Please boost for reach.

@eleventy @krinkle @iamdtms @mia I put this link in the GH issue too, but here is how I solved it.
