honestly, as cheap as the zeroclick is i think at that point id rather go for the btt eddy probe. its just faster cause it can sample continuously and its like 25 bucks which is perfectly acceptable to me so i guess yea thats another upgrade ill look into before tackling the toolhead

@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz basically it uses a little compliant mechanism to add just half a milimeter of upward travel when the nozzle hits the plate and that upward travel then actuates a switch to let it know that in realspace its at z-0.5mm so it can tap the nozzle against the build plate to figure out the level which is so much less of a headache than a detachable probe that needs an attach detach process added to the firmware also its literally like 1 switch and some wires so its like, cheap as fuck. thats also useful
