I've been chasing an error on a JavaScript project a long time. The thing that confused me the most was that it only appeared *sometimes*... it took me longer than I'd like to admit that it was an ESLINT error

I honestly feel bad asking for money for myself, specially since I'm promoting mutual aid posts for other people.
I could just not go home and stay in the city, right? I guess the only issue with that is that I wouldn't have access to my meds or food.
Ugh, why must my meds be so fricking expensive? Why must everything be so expensive? 
My supervisor refuses to use git and expects me to give him all the loose files in a folder with a txt file telling him where to put them, claiming that we can't just swap use the latest release of the project from the release branch because "you just are supposed to upload to production what you changed"... which is the entire point of using git? as in, I can keep track of what exactly changed between versions?
Am i wrong here or is my supervisor being difficult for no good reason?
I wish I could get my hands on an Itanium machine and run an OS on it that was written entirely for the architecture, one without any of the dreaded x86 emulation.
I really want to learn more about Itanium, EPIC, and VLIW.

@makethecatwise The innards look almost identical to those of the Qumetrak 242, which is a design from 1982. This Qume is compatible with System/32 and System/34 machines, so not that far off from an AS/400.
Of course, this model is missing that strange connector and those bits at the back, but the two models must be related.

@timbray@cosocial.ca oh boy this is going to be fun. nobody tell them that the reason why cobol is used in finance isn't because of cobol language itself, but because it's the best way to interface with mainframes, which are computers that have been fine tuned for decades to the needs of the finance world
(Yes, yes, you can run Python, Java, etc, on a modern mainframe using z/Linux, but that's beside the point)
