My current shared web hosting renews on 30 October, so I need that time to set up the VPS, migrate and test both production sites, switch everything over properly, and make sure there is no service interruption, especially on mutualaidspace.org. Hopefully we reach the full amount well before then. mutualaidspace.org is the public-facing mutual aid infrastructure I’ve been building: campaign amplification, submitted requests, weekly roundups, and federation across the Fediverse. The server-side work has grown beyond what makes sense to keep forcing through shared hosting. wrzky.com needs to move with it. It’s my publishing home, and it’s also where I build and test federation infrastructure and prototypes before developing them further for mutualaidspace.org. Some of that prototype work has been sitting on hold under shared hosting’s limits. I have been unable to work because of ongoing health issues, and our family has been relying primarily on my husband’s income from self-employment.
