Friends, asking for accounts on Mastodon or organizations that are about low vision resources. I am losing my sight (not from macular degeneration) and want to connect with others like me. It's pretty devastating for someone who's been an artist and photographer all my life, but accessibillity options are greatly improving. Currently using Zoom, Magnify and VoiceOver on the iphone. Looking for connection and inspiration and your well wishes too! #lowvision #accessibility

@heidilifeldman@mastodon.social This is a fantastic read that Marc Elias starts with his saying "Hillary Clinton is always right". Shocker since she's been written off effectively. The reason why is not just that she lost . She saw in the 90s the long game of movement conservatives and the right wing conspiracy coming for the Supreme Court, et al. Her votes against confirmation of Alito and Roberts. Their goal of turning back the American Republic not just 50 years but to the 19th Century. Her warnings were prescient and her reputation deserves a complete overhaul. #HillaryClinton

California with a Trumpublican governor? No, no, no! The Democratic candidates have not impressed, and many people say they're confused because of that. June 2 is coming up very fast so that alarms me. Steyer and Becerra poll the best, so let's get behind one of them. Steyer strikes me as having the change vision. If we could continue the clean energy transition we'd get ahead of high gas prices and fossil fuel monopolies. Prove me wrong! #governor #greenEnergy #cleanEnergy

@randulo@mastodon.social @jeridansky@sfba.social Wikipedia has some good background info on candidates. See also Rebecca Solnit https://www.meditationsinanemergency.com/the-case-for-climate-champion-tom-steyer-in-the-california-governors-race/?ref=meditations-in-an-emergency-newsletter

Like a lot of you, I'm not, to say the least, a fan of billionaires as a species. Perhaps unlike a lot of you, I'm not a fan of airtight categories either: categories are leaky and a lot of what you may assume about gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer
