@ascentale@sfba.social @streetmeme@cycle.town @bikenite@fedigroups.social A7. Install proper bike racks. I can't frequent a shop if I can't park my bike securely anywhere nearby. #BikeNite

@ascentale@sfba.social @nwarner@tenforward.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social A1. Denver metro, and most times that I ride it, because my older bike tended to lose air gradually so it’s a deep-seated habit. #BikeNite

@zzt@mas.to My class 1 e-bike with a decent pannier on it is fantastic! I bike everywhere, and steep hills are still steep, but if I have to climb them I can, and I can carry a good load of groceries for myself easily. Can't imagine _wanting_ to go faster than I do without, like, some kind of exoskeleton for protection in case I wipe. 😂 I've gotten up to around 30-35 mph on a smooth downhill and that feels too fast on most surfaces. 15-20 is just fine.

@ascentale@sfba.social @streetmeme@cycle.town @bikenite@fedigroups.social A1: hi from Denver metro! I don’t know what track standing is. Trying to balance on the bike without moving forward/backward or putting a foot on the ground? If so, definitely not on the ebike, because I can’t even ride no handlebars on that, and probably not on the mountain bike because I’ve never tried. #BikeNite

@zzt@mas.to to be entirely fair, i’m not confident i would be able to tell *their* code from slop (derogatory)

An excuse for more video game music! 🙌 Darren Korb - The King and the Bull (Hades) https://supergiantgames.bandcamp.com/track/the-king-and-the-bull-2 Yasunori Mitsuda - Delightful Spekkio (Chrono Trigger) https://archive.org/details/chrono_trigger_osv/37+-+Delightful+Spekkio.mp3 Koichi Sugiyama - Rondo (DQIII symphonic suite) https://archive.org/details/20200125_20200125_0104/03+Rondo.mp3 Nobuo Uematsu - Phantom Forest (FFVI) https://archive.org/details/final-fantasy-vi-original-soundtrack/Disc+1/15.+Phantom+Forest.flac Jeremy Soule - Nerevar Rising (Morrowind) https://archive.org/details/the-elder-scrolls-iii-morrowind-ost-special-edition_202502/01+Nerevar+Rising+(Morrowind+Title+Song).mp3 (edited for tip: pause & play to get the right track going on archive) #ThursdayFiveList #FantasyWorld

@ascentale@sfba.social @gbargoud@masto.nyc @bikenite@fedigroups.social A5a. Honestly I haven't even ridden the mountain bike since I got the ebike, but once I actually get it tuned up, ebike for errands, mountain bike for fun. A5b. Currently it's obvious, but once I get the mountain bike tuned up I may debate a bit which to use if it'll be a longer ride. #BikeNite

It is just barely Friday morning here but I've got to jump in with Darren Korb - I Am Gonna Claw (Out Your Eyes then Drown You to Death) (Hades II) https://supergiantgames.bandcamp.com/track/i-am-gonna-claw-out-your-eyes-then-drown-you-to-death-2 😈 #JukeboxFridayNight #PowerPlay

@foone@digipres.club the number of times I forget to enable node before trying to run the thing that uses node

@foolishowl@social.coop @davidgerard@circumstances.run and “asking for them” can just mean some people filled out a survey they designed without any “no” options and also wrote the questions in such a way that they could mean something as far off as “do you like spellcheck” or “do you use autofocus on your camera” or “do websites constantly force you to interact with a chatbot instead of human support” and then they claimed the answers mean “everyone’s clamoring for LLMs!!”

@moira@mastodon.murkworks.net lmao now they're trying to bribe me to buy an LG TV with a Best Buy discount exclusively for that. no thanks

@404mediaco@mastodon.social first thought was “and by years and years, you mean decades” (clicks article) Yep.

@HippieScubaSteve@mindly.social @neurothing@metalhead.club dang, I kinda forgot about Diamond Rio, that's a good one

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io this and girl explaining are the same picture

@jon@social.vivaldi.net @Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net This is the way.

@TimmyMac …I have a lot of Pilots and do use the CON-40. People shit on it and it’s true that it doesn’t fill as much as it feels like it should, but 🤷‍♀️ it holds ink and feels like it sits securely so it works.

cont'd: MBR - PERSONAL COMPUTER (synth/chiptune/metal) https://masterbootrecord.bandcamp.com/album/personal-computer Mikel - Middle-Earth & Chill https://mikeljakobi.bandcamp.com/album/middle-earth-chill Roehind - Buile (Celtic folktronica) https://roehind.bandcamp.com/album/buile BE/HOLD - Where They Landed (synthgrass) https://beholdyourfate.bandcamp.com/album/where-they-landed #BandcampFriday

@TimmyMac I wish it and the guy were better because I adored the color and shading of Black Swan in Australian Roses, but oh well - plenty of other inks to try

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io ew.

@404mediaco@mastodon.social the hero image makes this article unshareable in my (software co) work slack 😞

@Gargron@mastodon.social my position remains that it is evil for myriad reasons. And evil is a word I did not use about much of anything until all this, because it has been so abused by creepy megachurch right wingers who point it at the people they’re trying to hurt.

@ascentale@sfba.social @cainmark@mstdn.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social A2. I just use the pedals that came with the bike (Gazelle Arroyo C7), which are mostly plastic with a metal center, and they were fine till a driver hit me a couple weeks ago and broke the plastic off one of them. #BikeNite

@baldur@toot.cafe how long did it take for "big data" to die?
