Registered @aphera@mastodon.social after a few days on the trial period. If you are a #RAW shooter and use #MacOS, I think its worth a look. A really nice, keyboard-driven workflow, intiutive controls, support for 3rd party LUTs, and more – and great results of course. https://aphera.co #photography #photo #pixelfed

As every summer, some part of my vacation is spent on turning some knobs of my note-taking process. For 2026, this means adding individual notes for ”focus claims”, ideas/thoughts/questions I find myself returning to over and over again. The plan is to use them as link targets for notes I take when reading/watching/listening/discussing, recording wether a not supports or refutes the ”focus claim”. #notetaking #pkm #obsidian #zettelkasten

Does #Immich store photos in such a way that they can be accessed as individual files in the file system, for backups, editing in other tools, etc? #SelfHosting

@jwildeboer Time flies, apparently. Should have checked my profile before I answered. Closing in on 4, years, not ”1-2” :)

What is your tool of choice (on #MacOS) to add frames to #photos making both portrait and landscape shots 1:1? #photography #pixelfed #photo

@z3r0@gts.maverick-hq.org Excellent, thanks!

@aphera@mastodon.social No worries, and congrats on the launch! I did a quick test and it seems like your take on Projects actually integrates really well with Mylio. :)

@codinghorror@infosec.exchange Just wanted to stop by in your mentions and thank your for the talk at WWC26!

@nopatience@swecyb.com Yeah, fingers crossed! Just outside my front door, the grandchildren of our Norwegian neighbors are running around in full football gear. Hope to celebrate with them after midnight!

@nopatience@swecyb.com 👋 Read, have coffee, go for a swim, clean the house, watch tonight’s game.

@11ty@neighborhood.11ty.dev Oh, that sucks! Signed up for a notification for the relaunch!

@readeck Oh! Been waiting for the annotations! Really looking forward to try them out – and building automation around them using the api!

@zachleat@fediverse.zachleat.com Thanks! As a sidenote: When I published my latest post on my blog last weekend, I realized I haven’t updated 11ty once since I launched my site, which was at least 18 months ago. It just builds and gets on with it. Amazing!

@11ty@neighborhood.11ty.dev @zachleat@fediverse.zachleat.com Trying to understand subscription vs license: If I back the project I get updates for as long as my subscription runs, and when that ends I can still selfhost with all the Peo features I had at that time? And update the Free part as new versions are released?

@scottjenson@social.coop Couldn’t Dosai Oirie be a good company name though?

@Flipboard The curated ones! Thanks!

@FlipboardMagazines Where can I find a list with all your fediverse accounts? :)

@nazhamid@mastodon.social Hi! Trying to ping you if you are not monitoring mentions for @aphera@mastodon.social :)

@johanpeitz Shared with my 17 y/o who is busy building his first game. :)

@johanpeitz Will do!

Jag har för mig att jag läst om en stor flipperhall/museum någonstans i Halland. Men jag lyckas inte söka mig fram till något som bekräftar att en sån finns. Någon flipperfantast här? #halland #pinball #flipper

@aphera@mastodon.social Looks really good, will absolutely take it for a spin! What photo management tools does Aphera match well with? I'm currently using Mylio. Will I be able to find a good workflow between the two apps?

@aphera@mastodon.social Normal file system catalogued but only thumbnails kept on the computers drive, raw files available ”on request” from external drives. But can be synced to the computer’s. But if you haven’t heard about Mylio it’s probably easier if I just take the demo for a spin. :)

@aphera@mastodon.social I would guess that you current approach works well for most ways to organize your photos. Making a second copy of a photo in Aphera’s own storage and keep it there for the editing process should be quite universal?

@overcastfm@mastodon.social 12th?! Amazing! 🤩
