I'm enjoying testing the RAW editing workflow in the @aphera@mastodon.social Mac beta.

Here's a few lightly edited shots from a recent visit to Portugal, using aphera's Avila, Gambar, and Solaris looks.

It's a smart rethink on the heavy traditional photo editing workflow with some clever touches, and I can't wait for it to be released.

Enjoyed trying out @heliographe_studio@mastodon.social on my iPhone in 65x24 aspect ratio at the Royal Crescent in Bath today - loved the lawn stripes! #photography

Replying to
@wj@ruby.social the fennel sausage is Italian, marinaded and chopped up fine so it's more like a crumb than slices. So good. Real umami taste.

Replying to
@Philsturgeon@mastodon.green @ProtectEarthUK@toot.protect.earth @JoeD@mastodon.social It's a bit late so I will push a PR tomorrow w full details, but I've fixed the nav so it doesn't overflow the screen before you get to mobile menu, normalised font sizes across the site to use variables instead of hardcoded values, and reduced from 16 diff sizes to 9, and also made the achievements stack on mobile so they don't also overflow. No real visual changes yet, but I wanted to fix a few wonky things first.

Replying to
@Philsturgeon@mastodon.green @ProtectEarthUK@toot.protect.earth following @JoeD@mastodon.social 's comment, I'm an ex-developer now product designer, and while I haven't got a huge amount of time, I could potentially help a bit with the design high level, specifically the homepage, which would help to address Joe's concerns a bit. Maybe a first pass at suggestions for some quick wins to improve/tighten it up in an issue and a follow up PR from me implementing them if you like them.

Lovely exhibition of Gees Bend hand-stitched quilts at the American Museum in Bath - the size and precision was incredible. Made me want to get crafting. https://www.americanmuseum.org/exhibitions

Cool Werner Bischof images at the Fox Talbot museum taken in the 1940s with a Devin Tri-Color camera - it captured in one shot three different photographs through the colour filters: red, green and blue. So vivid!
