@Blender@mastodon.social Seriously... Be better than this Blender. Taking money from a company that steals your work and sells it is just shit. Unless this is compensation for the damage anthropic has done and should be announced as such, this announcement is just propping them up while they continue to exploit you and everyone else.

On the topic of slopware recently, I have found it pretty amusing that there are all these little issues sprinkled in so many projects with "I want copilot to be in my text editor", "can I get claude to work in this?", "Can you make LLMs a feature in this app".

There is something quite... disconnected about these things and the illusion of these things being "productivity boosters and enabling more" (whatever that fucking means).

Just... code it yourself? You have the AI, it is powerful as you have said to do everything or you could just do it quickly with it! Just use it for that instead asking real humans to enable your bullshit.

This dissonance within tech and particularly with AI chuds would be hilarious if it wasn't so damn damaging.

Here is something I have found insidious.

I have found that DigitalOcean has started introducing some AI prompting into their tutorials for installation of packages.

Caught this one and damn is it saying something that they believe this is okay?

@jonmsterling fwiw, I have been meaning to write a new RSS program for funsies. However, I think the lack of organisation has been issue with my previous attempts and with other things just locking up/making it more difficult to access I would probably want to make it an RSS app that has some bookmarking utils and configuration for launching apps for music/videos. Idk, things to ponder and design before I put it on the backburner.
