@adam@podcastindex.social @dave@podcastindex.social sent me down a slight rabbit hole. I remember reading the Minsky and Papert perceptrons book in college, and the McCulloch & Pitts paper. Crazy to think that ANNs were invented in the 1940s.

Is it me or have the frontier models learned how to find the RSS feeds for shows? Earlier generations failed at this but lately Claude has been nailing it.

I've definitely had to recalibrate and rework my relationship with the daily act of coding. It's turned into something more like, I don't know, terraforming.
Like Dave said, we seem to be in the middle of something that hasn't settled yet.
