What an amazing week at #aoir2023. Saw sooo many friends, met some great new people and heard about a whole lot of exciting research 💖🫶

This was my first AoIR conference where I wasn't prolifically posting throughout, partly because of the splintering of the community across Twitter, Mastodon and Insta but also because I was too engrossed in IRL interactions. A refreshing experience!

Had a great time giving a guest lecture on the platformisation of creative labour and inequalities in the influencer industry for 'Critical Internet Studies' students at MIT's Comparative Media Studies. Thanks for inviting me @adg@aoir.social! 😄✨️

It's done! I gave my first ever public lecture at @bkc@social.cyber.harvard.edu! Thanks to @Producing2Power@mastodon.social for inviting me and to everyone who supported in organising, attending and asking great questions. Grateful to have such an awesome aca-community 🥲💖 Now, just got to write the book! 🏃‍♀️
