😂 Yes! The original - mixed tape. We had to create playlists in an analog way ourselves, kids! With buttons and patience!

Years back, I had this particular day that was intensely traumatic.
I had hardly eaten, so I went to a restaurant to take a break.
I asked for no meat. The server came back to the table explaining the kitchen denied my request for no meat because it "wouldn't look right on the platter."
😂🤣😂🤣
In that moment, I got the best dark humour therapy I could have ever asked for.
It was a hard day, and that denial for a meat free meal was hilarious. I still laugh about it. It just wouldn't look right!

The #FortnightFridayMusic word today is #Indigo
You can hear rain, wind chimes, and birds chirping in the background of this recording and I just love it so much 💜💜💜

Right?! 😂 I'm the one eating it. Who cares what it looks like on the platter!
I'm a firm believer of using my money as my vote on how the world works, and this got a down vote 👎 We went elsewhere where platter presentation did not get in the way of serving hungry plant powered customers.

Yeah there was a vegan/ plant-based boom for a bit and now it seems like a lot of that is getting torn down.
Now I pack and plan ahead with food when I travel most of the time. It's cheaper, healthier, and easier. I still support small businesses when I can that are making quality vegan food 😋

This is... something else! I must admit I'm not sure I've ever heard this band play this song before watching this. Extremely psychedelic 💥💥💥

Lol! Isn't it bizarre?! So much so that it's hilarious and hard to believe it's real life 😂 And that would have been less than 10 years ago too. So it's not like veganism/ vegetarianism was THAT rare then.

I honestly was having similar thoughts just this morning. When it all feels hopeless and overwhelming, there is the Fediverse.
Just as you said - people are posting about what they know. There is SO much value in that. Thanks for reminding me why I keep showing up here. 🙏

I actually thought of you with the Black Pumas. I feel like you and I have talked about that track before. It was the first song that popped into my head!
