As promised, here's the demo.
Hi all. I am aware of an issue involving nested zips (zips which have zips inside them) causing the import screen to disappear. This has been patched and and if no other issues are reported, will be submitted to the store on Wednesday. I do apologize for this. Also, the issue where the app would sometimes revert to the default notification sound after updating should be fixed as well. This one's a little more difficult since it isn't always consistent, but I did hear your feedback and will do my best to address it.
Well, I thought it was about time I made some semblance of an announcement. I've been working super hard on a clock app for both iOs and macos, and am hoping to have it in the appstore in the next couple of weeks. I hope and expect many of you will enjoy it. As a teaser, all clocks from Steve's talking clock will work, as well as a few new clock methods of my own making.
update: Macos just made it through review, so both versions will come with preorders! Thank you to everyone who has done so so far ☺️. Just one more week to go, and 17 away from 100 preorders! Regarding my initial post about this, the same appstore link will work for both platforms.
The app has been submitted, and is waiting for review. I'll be having a preorder sale which will bring the price from $6.99 to $3.99. I will post here as soon as they go live, and one purchase will cover both iOs and macos. It will come with 6 mechanical clock presets (which have been specifically recorded for this app) and two talking ones to get you started.
I'll be submitting the app to the store Monday :). I'd like to thank @gallagher123123@dragonscave.space and others who have helped me in putting everything together for this project. SUper excited for everyone to get their hands on it.
1.0.1 has been reviewed and approved, so that'll be the version everyone gets😀. Now we wait until Monday.⏰

Maybe this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone have the rooster file for the bong clock? I was so surprised to find it wasn't there as an alarm sound.

I've done my best to make importing sounds and understanding the methods as easy as possible, and of course you can ask questions. I especially think the colonial preset will be a favorite for those who enjoy chiming clocks.
Update: iOs just got approved for the appstore, and am now waiting on macos. Depending on how that goes, I may open preorders tomorrow. We're almost there!

@pitermach@dragonscave.space I'm also planning on extending method 4 to allow for a variants so it will accept both separate hour and minute files. This sounds like what you're talking about I think, at least partially? I also have British style support in a feature branch which I'm hoping to get into the public release very soon.

@pitermach@dragonscave.space Method 4 now can accept individual hours and minutes, as well as number+minute/minutes. eg. 5minutes, or 1minute. Definitely gonna need some multilinggual people to help with the concatenated methods though, but this is all coming along very nicely.
