@stux@mstdn.social you can do it for a lot less if you don’t buy fast passes for every ride you take, don’t stay in a Disney hotel, make smart choices about what you eat and drink and where, and don’t buy every piece of merch that catches your eye. I think the high spenders are choosing the spend as part of the experience. All of the above is much easier if you don’t have kids of course.

The system only works because nobody can work out which half it is.” Thing is, these days with analytics you can tell exactly what works - and it’s way less than half, which is why IAB ad rates have fallen through the floor. The volume we see is desperation by publishers who now need 5-10 times as many cheap ads to make the same revenue.
