Als het normaal is om elke dag minstens twee minuten je tanden te poetsen, voor mondhygiëne, waarom is het dan niet ook normaal om elke dag minstens een half uur de wereld te poetsen, voor wereldhygiëne. Er is meer onrecht en vervuiling in de wereld dan tandplak in je mond.

If it's so common to take care of our teeth for at least two minutes a day, for the sake of dental hygiene, why isn't as common to take care of the #planet in the same way, let's say 30 minutes a day, for the sake of planetary hygiene? There is more #injustice and #pollution in the world than plaque in your mouth. And it's the world that we leave to the next generation, not our teeth.

At some point LLMs like #ChatGPT will be able to produce more than text. Simple steps could be:

"Show me a map of all the places mentioned and described in Mark Twain's 'The Innocents abroad. Create little popups at this places and show the excerpts from the book that mention those places".

"Show me a network graph of how the top 100 most-cited articles on ocean acidification reference each other."

Just like I am a fan of desktop search engines like #Recoll (bringing the power of something like Google to my own personal data), I am excited about the potential of the application of LLMs like #ChatGPT *[Footnote1] to my own library of articles, books and notes.

"Show me who has written about the rise of ecofascism in 1930s in Germany, and summarize my notes on it."
