@Chloe@catwithaclari.net Pretty much the whole country is below sea level so they don't have much choice.

sharkey 2025.4.7“Hello, good evening, and welcome”, as David Frost used to say. This is my fourth fediverse account and therefore my fourth #introduction so I should know what to put by now, unfortunately I still have no clue.
I've been on various social media sites over the years. It all started way back in 1990 when I did the #OU DT200 information technology course. This gave me access to their CoSy based conferencing system. From there I explored various #BBSs before joining #CIX. From there I migrated to #Facebook and #Twitter via #Usenet and alt newsgroups. When He Who Shall Not Be Named took over Twitter I decided that it was time to move on and so joined the Fediverse. My first instance was mastodon.me.uk. I followed quite a few people who were on various Misskey forks though and decided that I too wanted to play with all the cool MFM tricks and so moved to shonk.social (RIP). Later I was invited by soph@ice.sophari.org to join her instance. That account still exists and I’ll be hanging on to it for the foreseeable future.
My interests cover a variety of areas such as: #Cats, #Photography and #Cooking. Recently, I’ve taken up art using #Krita and #music using #LMMS so, once I get myself sorted with them, I’ll be posting pictures and music from time to time.
That’s probably more than enough waffle from me but if there’s anything else you want to know just ask, I promise that I don't bite.

@catsalad@infosec.exchange I don't know what sound I expected a fox to make but whatever it was, it wasn't a cat like mew.

@catsalad@infosec.exchange I've never used teams and have no idea what jira or salesforce are. Presumably, I should consider myself lucky?

@ielenia@ck.catwithaclari.net That strikes me as a good thing. I arranged to meet someone a few years ago and she spent virtually the whole time we were together playing with her phone. I made my excuses and left, as the saying goes.

@Likewise@beige.party That looks wrong that way round. She looks like she's hanging from the ceiling, or something.
Then again, it's just a matter of perspective.
OK, that's enough of that for now.

@catsalad@infosec.exchange I'm surprised that the Guinea Pigs weren't more bothered by a big lummox like that joining them.
