@Chrissy@mountains.social is he interested in green energy at all? Vattenfall have been known to offer good placements, but might be quite remote for him..

@snarkysteff@mastodon.online omg yes! Every year I buy beautiful, healthy, sweet pea seedlings grown lovingly by my local garden centre who have the facilities and time and expertise to do so. They kick the shit out of the leggy, light-starved little creatures I used to grow from seed.

@Troggie yep, unbelievable pain. During and for hours after (to the point I'm not really safe to drive myself home for fear of passing out), and bad cramps for a few days. I'm generally pretty hardy about pain normally, I'm a horse girl and full of broken bones and dislocations and stuff... but an IUD is in another realm. But agree, worth it. They do think now that they're effective for longer than originally thought, though??

@Troggie 😭 hope you get it sorted and over and done with

@Chrissy@mountains.social quite a lot of activity here in aberdeenshire, my friends son has a summer placement with them at their clashindarroch site i think
