Mr B and Mimsy are snuggle bunnies. Every day Mimsy gets more comfortable and confident. Litter box issues have been resolved. We just need to figure out how to pick her up and trim her nails. Slow and steady. #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon

Two weeks in, Mr B and Mimolette (Mimsy) are officially best buddies. It's fun to watch Mr B teach her about the house and all the fun places to chill. Trying to work through food and litter box issues though. Mr B is so food motivated it's been hard keeping them both fed the correct amount. #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon

It's happening! Mr B and our new family member, Sabrina (name change forthcoming), are officially getting along! She's been warming up to us over the last 9 days, but she's been very shy around Mr B. Tonight, she just hopped up on the bed and let him groom her. She's had a tough life as a feral, but I think she's going to like her new life with us. What a pumpkin! #MrB #CatsOfMastodon

I guess web ads must work, but I've never clicked one (except by accident or via dark patterns). Maybe it's all a scam and the usage numbers are bogus? It seems pretty stupid. This might be a long shot. I'm looking for an lgbtq ally bracelet. Simple yet visible. Adjustable, but not on elastic. Ideally the colors of pride and black and white to convey the straight ally flag. I bought something on etsy that is close to what I'm looking for, but it's a single strand of seed beads and is a bit too subtle. @AnguaDelphine Wait, do other people call it chimkin too? Mr B loves "chimkin time" (when my wife is cutting up chimkin for lunch) although he's on a special diet (down to 16lbs!) so he doesn't get chimkin anymore, except for his birfday! I immediately jumped to https://joinmastodon.org/servers expecting to see a new "Indigenous" category with turtleisland.social at the top so it would be easier for people to find them, but nope. I think it's great to feature them on the blog, but the masto sign up process still leaves a lot of instances that need to reach underserved communities without good visibility. Hopefully that is going to change soon!
