You know what annoys me? People saying to LGBT+ folks to just be "invisible."

Telling someone to “be invisible” is rarely a neutral request. It places the entire burden of social harmony on the marginalized group, requiring them to hide who they are to make others comfortable.

”invisible" means adhering to whatever they consider the default or “standard” social norm. anything outside that is “special treatment.”

celebrating our existence with pride and then saying it’s “calling attention to themselves," as if the goal is to be looked at rather than to simply exist openly. This is strictly NOT about you. Why do you make it about you?

Gratitude is free, and feels amazing. Don't be afraid of sharing your emotions, make someone's day better by telling them how you appreciate them.

We all need it

Check on all your friends. Say hi. Make sure they're okay.
You never know when things could go wrong.

Whenever I ask people who they think of my music, I frequently get told "It sounds like video game music", and to this day I have no idea how to interpret this.

@frost@chitter.xyz It needs to have VR support and detailed FFB. I've always thought about how a open world driving game with MMO aspects, such as upgrading your cars through events, would make an excellent online game.

I've just realized i haven't seen a starry night sky in years. I remember seeing the sky very clearly at night. Now my town has so much light pollution, it's completely grey in the sky at night.

with the ever so increasing popularity of AI tools such as chatgpt, we need to ensure that those in control are held to the highest degree of accountability for unleashing a dangerous product. The safeguards are not working.

unfortunately the hype has always, and will continue to drown out the very serious problems they bring.

Many of you problem don't care about this, but it is important to me.

Hax$ was a figure in the super smash bros community that has had his name besmirched and tainted, and no matter what he did to try and salvage his name, people at every turn sullied his name more.
Everyone needs to remember that you are talking to a very real human being behind the screen.
Stop being edgy and unnecessarily harsh to everyone around, it only brings us all down.

Hax$ had attempted suicide by jumping in front of a train, which he survived, although losing a leg. He sadly passed away later on due to complications.

Be kind, y'all.

If you give me a tool and it has 5 power settings instead of 4 or 6, I will be upset.
