@ErikJonker @soulsource @pojntfx "You have to start somewhere" is a fair point but if skip the first 5 steps and have a narrow point of view you probably should not have started at all yet. I mean this is not some grad students research project. This is serious stuff if they can't get that right what are they even doing in the first place?

@riggbeck @kibcol1049 Heyo! Can you point me where in LOTR this is discussed? :) I tried looking but I only found it in reference too Alice in Wonderland

@riggbeck @kibcol1049 I'm in the same boat as you. I think that's his 111 birthday and he dreaded it but it was not an unbirthday 🤔

@brianbilston Poetry is a great way to check you speech. I'm not a native speaker so for me Yeats did not Rhyme with States. I spoke it as "Yeets" but I guess it should be "Yates"?

@vicgrinberg Usually the conversation pivots pretty quickly to "do you also have these issues with it?" 😅

@damianlehmann@mastodon.social Definitively the lair of the trash witch

@dirtyoldtown@mefi.social Reminds me of this coming by theycantalk

@nixCraft@mastodon.social If I remember correctly somebody on here recently posted a blog post (?) about this exact scam 🙊

@tsvga@ni.hil.ist @bulbagarden@mastodon.social same 🫠

@TheSnoopySnoop And all having to go around bc Austria closed it's airspace to them 🤭

@Koffeinpiratin@mastodon.de Ein Freund von mir ist auch interessiert 🤭

@vicgrinberg I more and more get the feeling that I bought into a testbed with the #Fairphone5. It's not a bad phone per se it's just underwhelming in almost all aspects.

@SatanicPanDick@kolektiva.social @billyjoebowers@mastodon.online Was about to say ^^ let's see how long he last this time

@woltiv@mastodon.social @itsfoss@mastodon.social Those are really small and mostly visual things but that's what can break an average user's back. Just recently I pushed back a project to make Nextcloud autoconnect upon login. It looks like I need to write some code in the terminal but I just couldn't be bothered to understand it first so I don't execute some garbage code. But don't get me wrong I LOVE some features from Nautilus. Like the fact how smooth the search and copying is. 2/2

@benlockwood @shinealittlelove @NuanceRhymesWithOrange @bluegreenandfree Y'all have some shovels too, right?

@Gargron @miss_ming ist Sinbad jetzt kein Film für Kinder? Hat ein PG Rating und wird als Familienfilm bezeichnet...

@itsfoss@mastodon.social You say that but I am really missing the small things like a clipboard for whatever you copied or the limited functionality of the Nautilus file explorer

@georgetakei@universeodon.com Yet again a post without Alt-text. blocked.
