My recommendation: If you're going to boost/quote people requesting money, I suggest you restrict it to people you or someone very close to you knows, and whose story you can verify.

The more we try to find things that will let us cut costs, the more my job runs into it. The best laid programs of mice and bureaucrats don't take personal situations into account. This is exhausting. I really do understand why people ask for money from people on here. But if I ever try raising money online, it will be for something very specific and, hopefully, not considered frivolous.

And when Window came into play, RDC was waaaaaaaaay out of their element. Right until the very end, MegaDots was a Dos program with a Windows interface, so while it was a Dos program, you had to run it from windows, and while the interface was Windows, it was pretty clear you were still running a Dos program. And there were lots of places where, if you read the manual, you were told that such-and-such a feature only ran on older computers, or if you were having difficulty with something, try using an older computer to see if that helps. The merger with Duxbury was the smartest thing they could have done.
