Venue is only twenty minutes old and already has a better lineup than Bluesfest #Ottawa
When I was like 12 years old I recieved my late grandfather's original edition of Len Deighton's Blitzkrieg, which was the start of my interest in history in general and militaria in particular. Kind of surprised he was still alive only 97 in 2026 lol
Not gonna lie, I am once again feeling smug that our nascent national soccer leagues (both the Men's #CanPL and Women's #NSL ) are made up entirely of Canadian teams playing here and with requirements to drive domestic talent growth while "Canada's game" (both Men's and Women's) is focused almost entirely on US owned leagues playing with mostly US teams.

Canadians are a people who are immensely proud of the things their leaders will say at international conferences but balk at the idea that we paid for them to travel there in the first place. We'll be quick to point out how stupid it is to see the US burning all of its soft power but then insist that our official residences and guest houses crumble to the ground and if anybody needs a place to stay they can use a Holiday Inn express in Kanata

Far be it from me to defend the future Hereditary Earl of Stroll's team but like, we've seen this exact thing before. Honda fucks up a design, ruins a multi year strategic plan, can't compete, and leaves an ocean of Alonso tears in the wake.
Audi managed to enter a new sport, design a new engine for a racing category they haven't competed in before, and they've managed to get 2 more cars across a finish line so far this year than Aston Martin-Honda.
