@mstarace@mastodon.social It would be "tough" but I could try to survive on $224billion! My first move would be to split $223 billion between Ukraine and Gaza. Mind, there's plenty of demand for public health, homelessness, education, climate change,,,, etc But then, I prefer people to things.
We were onboard the #SailingShip #TSpelican in #WeymouthBay when the #Coastguard #Helicopter approached and carried out a "practice rescue at sea". For safety reasons we were asked to stop filming and move to the other end of the ship - hence the video is very brief.

@Bwee@meow.social Our recent "rescue" cat Willow is also a sweetie but so active, playful, runs like a mad rabbit everywhere, noses into everything, tips it all off "her" table, keeps us awake and keeps us alive - the little demon!

@Bwee This was Pudden, a stray who adopted us for her last few years. She only ate if I stroked her, always followed me round the garden, running ahead to poop in the middle of the path, never ever scratched or bit, caught many mice (sadly) and left them by my chair, never passed a cushion without sleeping on it, the sweetest little girl.

@lowqualityfacts@mstdn.social Used to work with a chap called Buckethead. Among 100's of examples was the crossword - "3-letter word for an adhesive", his answer - "glu".... Requested to pack 10 metres of stair carpet plus a "pattern" , he just sent the pattern - about 75 cms! -- which left the roll too short to complete the (corrected) order. He was one of a kind.....
