@oaj@mastodon.com.pl @cazabon@mindly.social Following hashtags on a Mastodon server only shows you tagged content that arrived at that server for other reasons. You don't get all tagged content. See https://tags.pub/#why You should keep it blocked if you want to, but it does provide a real service.

We just accept public tagged content and re-share it to Fediverse users who followed that tag. People on small servers or on non-Mastodon platforms can't follow hashtags or get very little tagged content. See here: https://tags.pub/#why
