I first saw them on Mastodon, unfortunately i cant remember the account.This weekend I was lucky enough to see a tiny post sheep for myself, in the wild, in the Clwydian hills. This a purple back variety. #tinyBalancingSheep

I went to inspect another three gaps in a dry stone wall for another neighbour. This one is on Widdybank Fell, near an outcrop of the Whin Sill. Look what I found: #TinyBalancingSheep (You might have to expand the photo.)

I don’t know if @ceadela@mastodonapp.uk will read this but I do know she has a soft spot for a #Herdie 🙂 We sometimes see young ones overwintered in our local lowland fields, but the older ones are more of a rarity.
